Making Short Films is an media book by Max Thurlow and Clifford Thurlow from Bloomsbury. It aimed at people wanting to get involved in the film making industry, providing  a complete and detailed guide to filmmaking .

The book is very interesting to anyone trying to break into the industry, and shows the difficulties and processes needed to go through. But proves that making movies is the most exciting way to earn a living.

Pulp Fiction 1994

pulp_fiction_uma_thurmanPulp Fiction is an 1994 American dark comedic crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino. Plot: The lives of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster’s wife, and a pair of diner bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption. It’s an adult film about sex, drugs and gangsters.

This is one of my favourite films, with gripped story lines, smart, funny dialogue and deeply interesting characters.
