Kick-Ass 2 is the 2013 sequel superhero film to the 2010 film ‘Kick-Ass,’ staring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloë Moretz. Plot: The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows.
I think Kick-Ass to lives up to its predecessor, where in some ways it doesn’t carry the same charm and perfectly placed story lines. It’s still ridiculously entertaining, with more shock factor and blend of ultra-violence and ironic humour.
